The PointSmart.ClickSafe. Summit is drew together leading stakeholders – including Internet providers, technology companies, child advocates, parents’ groups, educators, health researchers and policymakers – to share and develop best practices for keeping children safe online.

Convened by iKeepSafe and Common Sense Media in partnership with the National Cable & Telecommunications Association and Cable in the Classroom, the summit is a part of the cable industry’s PointSmart.ClickSafe. child online safety and literacy initiative.

Point Smart. Click Safe. is a comprehensive new initiative from Cable in the Classroom and the cable industry that addresses Internet safety, digital ethics, and media literacy.

In an effort to further promote online safety and Internet literacy for children and families, the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) and Cable in the Classroom (CIC)  are distributing to cable systems and networks several Public Service Announcements (PSAs) that will be aired throughout the country.
