Courteous Online Behavior

The Internet has its own set of the informal rules and etiquette, called "netiquette." When you don’t know the rules, you can easily create misunderstandings and unintentionally insult others. Good netiquette helps children communicate online clearly, courteously, and more safely.

• Adults can get an overview of appropriate conduct with the Ten Core Rules of Netiquette.
