Using Digital Resources Productively

Today’s kids are more than simply users of media and technology; they’re also creators. Half or more of teens have created a Web site, a blog or share original artwork, photos, music or other content. They are participating in social networking sites such as myspace.com, where they create and participate in a variety of digital media.

Modern media and technology give us access to a staggering amount of information and entertainment. Media literacy skills, digital safety, and digital ethics will help your students or children navigate and consume thoughtfully, so they can take full advantage of what’s available.
