A new report outlines best practices for ensuring child internet safety
A task force consisting of a wide variety of organizations representing child health and advocacy, internet safety and other non-profits, educators, parents and companies from the internet industry and has issued a series of best practice recommendations for child internet safety. In crafting its report, task force took a deep look at the complex issues around this important topic, examined the role of government, education, law enforcement, public health, and industry, as well as previous reports and recommendations. Many companies are already implementing a number of these best practice recommendations.
