Creative and Effective Work in Media Literacy
--You’re Invited to Apply or Nominate Someone You Know
Cable's Leaders in Learning Awards program honors educators, community leaders, administrators and/or policymakers, for demonstrations of vision, innovation, action, and/or transformation in K-12 education. One of the award categories recognizes leaders in the field of media literacy. Winners receive cash awards and a trip to Washington, DC, for a gala awards ceremony.
Cable in the Classroom’s Media Smart Research Awards recognize research in media literacy instruction done by graduate students. In addition to cash awards, winners and their primary faculty advisors are brought to Washington, DC to present their findings to an audience of education leaders.
