One in three American children is overweight. This number is growing steadily, and has been since 1963. According to the CDC, if current trends continue, the human and financial cost of this burgeoning public health crisis will soon cancel out all the advances made with the decline in smoking. This program looks at the many factors contributing to this epidemic. The food-saturated environment we live in, lifestyle changes like eating out, and urban sprawl.
