Summer vacation is about to begin. You’ve made your plans, which might include spending time with your children or grandchildren, or working at a camp or vacation program.  Like your students, many of these young people are attracted to the media.  Your time with them provides more opportunities to discuss the role of media and media literacy.  Your role as information/media specialist also is more important than ever. Take some time to refresh your resources and your knowledge.
