Nickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play
Nickelodeon will celebrate its 9th Annual World Wide Day of Play on October 6, 2012 with a full day dedicated to healthy and active play. Nick will go dark to inspire kids around the world to get out and go play. All summer long, Nick will showcase how kids are taking action for their health and wellness. Kids can upload their UGC. Nickelodeon also works with local schools, communities, and partners to host more than 5,000 local Worldwide Day of Play events in all 50 states and 20 countries. In 2011, Nickelodeon’s unforgettable Worldwide Day of Play headquarter event in Washington, DC included the First Family, 50 partners, A-list Nick talent, world-famous athletes and 55,000 attendees.
