A THIN LINE is a broad-based, multi-year campaign empowering America's youth to identify, respond to, and stop the spread of digital abuse (sexting, cyberbullying, digital dating abuse, etc.) MTV built a coalition of the foremost authorities on these topics and is engaging its audience through thought-provoking PSAs, integration into MTV's top-rated shows, innovative online and mobile tools, curricula, and more. Young people nationwide have responded in force, with over 1M having already taken action as a result of the campaign. A THIN LINE can be used as a talking tool to start the conversation on digital abuse, test awareness, and help encourage action on the issue at home or in school.
The Campaign components were developed around the research results of the Digital Abuse Study generated by MTV & the Associated Press (http://research.AThinLine.org).
