This program documents and recreates the stories of seven black Congressional Medal of Honor winners who only recently received their medals for service in World War II. By the time the Army bestowed these honors, six of the men had already died. This program also looks at the issue of race in the Army and includes the ceremony where President Clinton presents the medals to the lone survivor and the family members of the others.
