Food Day, a nationwide celebration of healthy, affordable, and sustainably produced food is coming up on October 24, 2013.  Food Network and now Cooking Channel host, Jamie Oliver supports Food Day and its partners, Let’s Get Cooking and Big Apple Crunch to provide children with the opportunity for hands-on in the kitchen.  Through the Get Food Education in Every School campaign in the U.S., Jamie promotes healthy habits in schools as part of his personal Food Foundation.  Teachers can access free classroom resources to encourage students to pursue healthy choices.
