C-SPAN's 2011 Educators' Conference

C-SPAN Classroom is hosting an Educators' Conference at their offices on December 1, 2011.  The Educator’s Conference will coincide with the 2011 National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) annual conference being held in Washington, DC on December 2 - 4.  C-SPAN's one-day conference is available to 35 C-SPAN Classroom members who plan on traveling to Washington, DC, or will be in the area during the NCSS annual conference.  Attendees will discover and learn about C-SPAN's abundant resources through presentations and interactive workshops.  The goal of the one-day conference is to bring together middle and high school educators (grades 6 -12) to share C-SPAN and its online resources, as well as demonstrate how to integrate the materials into the classroom.  Registration is FREE, and meals will be provided.  Up to 35 teachers will be selected to attend.  If you are a C-SPAN Classroom member, and have not attended one of the previous C-SPAN conferences, please consider applying.
