Connect a Million Minds
Connect a Million Minds™ has been nominated for a 2012 Webby Award. Vote for Time Warner Cable and Congratulations!
Connect a Million Minds™ was launched in November 2009 as Time Warner Cable’s philanthropic commitment of $100 million cash and in-kind donations to address the White House’s Educate to Innovate initiative to improve STEM opportunities for U.S. students. Time Warner Cable’s five-year program was designed to inspire students to pursue learning opportunities and careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). In addition to in-kind donations, Time Warner Cable has launched a signature technology curriculum, Cracking the Codes in the Digital World™, pairing middle school students with Time Warner Cable mentors in after school settings. The curriculum focuses on the STEM skills necessary behind the cable television industry. Other signature curriculum available includes Cracking the Codes in the Wireless World™ and Cracking the Codes in the High Speed World™.
