USA Network hosted a first-ever Characters Unite National Town Hall, a groundbreaking high-level discussion on how America's increasingly diverse and divided population can find common ground on today's complex social issues.  The town hall brought together a diverse, highly talented group of leaders to generate fresh ideas for actions by individuals, communities and government to overcome social injustices and bridge cultural divides.

Hosted in Washington, DC on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, town hall moderator and NBC  News Special Correspondent, Tom Brokaw lead the discussion among participants which included:  Mike Allen, Chief White House Correspondent, Politico, Congressman Xavier Becerra, Newark, NH Mayor Cory T.
