Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee
Based on book by Dee Brown, this film adaptation chronicles the events leading up to the massacre of the Sioux at Wounded Knee Creek. Beginning with the Sioux victory over General Custer at Little Big Horn, this dramatization intertwines the perspectives of a young Dartmouth-educated Sioux doctor, Sitting Bull, and Senator Henry Dawes.
