art & music & theater & dance - oh my!
According to the College Entrance Examination Board, students who take four or more years of arts classes in high school score better on their SATs than students who take a half year or less. Not only that, but students with high levels of arts involvement are less likely to drop out of school by 10th grade, according to Americans for the Arts.
